Koubou is a place for humans, not clankers. This is a mostly private community, intended to be shielded from scraping and slop.

We have extremely strict policies in regards to AI technologies concerning the exfiltration and use of hosted data, as well as the submission of data.

It is your responsibility to ensure these policies are upheld. This applies regardless of whether AI technologies are used by you, incorporated into something else you use, or operated by a third party.

"AI technologies" include, but are not limited to Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI tools that can produce text, images, video, audio, or any other content, or any other similar technologies, as determined by the owner of the site.

Exfiltration and use

Any and all consumption (in any form) of data hosted here by, or for use by AI technologies is strictly forbidden.

You must ensure, to the best of your ability, that any browsers, clients, RSS feed readers, operating systems, file storage, or any other software that accesses or processes data hosted here is configured to never allow any of that data to reach AI technologies of any kind nor for any purpose, including training, summarization, translation, analysis, editing, processing, etc. Such functionality, even in otherwise non-AI-oriented software, must be disabled while accessing Koubou, and must never be allowed to access any data that is downloaded, even after you stop using the service.

Submission

Any uploading of content created by AI technologies is strictly forbidden. This includes the output from LLMs or generative AI technologies. Additionally, you are strongly encouraged to avoid the use of such technologies in any indirect/assistive way in the process of creating content you upload (e.g. research, drafts, etc), and any use or involvement of such technologies must be explicitly stated.
